Belated Halloween

I only had the opportunity to take pictures of Kaden this year as Kaige started the evening trick-or-treating with some friends of ours and by the time I saw him it was too dark :-( Here are a few, not the best but you get the idea.

So my husband comes up with this great idea for a do-it yourself home improvement project, stained concrete. The whole idea sounded pretty easy and not ever having to worry about a spill on my carpet again...sign me up!! After reserching different techniques we figured out the color we would use, a neutral brown/beige. So we set off to destroy our house and rip up all of our carpet(we are just doing the living room & hallway), which was a project in itself! I stood back to look at the destruction and immediately thought "what the hell did we just do"??? I will update this weekend with pictures of the wreckage that we now call home. Wish us luck on our journey! Here's a picture of something similar, I figure that some throw rugs will give it a warm look!

Pumpkin Patch

We visited the pumpkin patch yesterday & had alot of fun. It was still so HOT out, made me wish for cooler weather! Halloween is just around the corner :-)

Toys for the Boys

We got our selves one of these puppies last weekend!















A Yamaha Rhino! The boys are thrilled to say the least! It was quite a splurge but this is definitely one thing that can provide alot of quality family time for all of us. It is currently having back seats installed that way we can all go out safely at the same time. There are sure to be more Rhino pics posted here soon

Choices, Choices??

I know, I know, it's been awhile! I am back on it ladies, promise! Between colds, vacations, work, weddings, baby showers it's been a little hectic!
My photo printer is on it's last leg & I have been shopping around for a new one. I would really love a Canon printer and I am thinking about this one or this one?? Does any one out there have one of these? I am not totally sold on the Canon so if there is anything else out there that you think is great please feel free to let me know! I appreciate the input :-)

I'm a 3rd Graders Mom...

Wow...I can't believe I am saying that! My baby is starting 3rd grade on Monday. I can't believe he is in 3rd grade, I was just changing his diaper yesterday...or atleast it feels that way. He is so independent and the boy has a social calendar like you wouldn't believe..he's always got somewhere to be! I even have GIRLS calling my house!! I know we can't stop them from growing up and pulling away but he will always be MY baby. I am the first one he has LOVED, TRUSTED and who will ALWAYS take care of him...I just hope he always remembers that!!

Requesting help from my *crafty* peeps

Does anyone out there have one of these?? It's a binding machine that I saw demoed at the local scrap spot and it looked really neat. I really want one but keep debating as to whether I should purchase one. Will I really use it all that often? Is it easy to use?? If any of you out there has one or knows someone who does, your input would be much appreciated...thanks!

Wii Crazy

"Wii" are now the proud owner of one of these puppies! Can I tell you how much FUN they are! The coolest thing is that my boys are actually not sitting in one position for HOURS playing a game, with this they are up and active...entertainment and exercise in one...what more can a mom ask for?? :-)

I myself am still waiting to find this but still seems to be soldout everywhere in our area...I know several women who have them and are raving! Hopefully I can find one soon so I can shed some of these vacation pounds :-)

We're back!!!

Alaska was a blast but there is definitely nothing like home. After being in a cabin for 9 days with no TV and two kids it was really nice to be home...I know all the moms out there can relate! Here are some pictures to peep at...enjoy!
